Augmentative and Alternative Communication ist die offizielle Fachzeitschrift der International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC). Das AAC Journal publiziert im systematischen Peer-Review-Verfahren ausgewählte Beiträge, die sich mit allen Aspekten Unterstützter Kommunikation (AAC) auseinandersetzen. Das Ziel der Zeitschrift ist es, die wissenschaftliche Datengrundlage zu dokumentieren und das Wissen zu mehren, um die Bedingungen für Personen mit komplexen Kommunikationsbeeinträchtigungen und deren Familien zu verbessern.
